  • Responsibilities

    This position will be responsible for all the administrative requirements associated with employee onboarding, administration of company policies, and any other such duties as assigned. Must be able to positively impact the business unit's results by providing support for all people-related functions in the business. 

    • Administer Business Unit Drug and Alcohol Testing Program and return to work documentation (STD, Military, etc.).
    • Respond appropriately to outside inquiries regarding current and/or former employees (i.e., Verifications of Employment, etc.)
    • New Vendor requests.
    • IT New User and Term requests.
    • Setting up Intern housing.
    • Maintaining the Business Unit Attendance spreadsheet.
    • Maintaining the Business Unit Vacation Calendar.
    • Maintaining the Business Unit Weekly Recruiting Summary spreadsheet.
    • Shipping returned IT equipment back to corporate headquarters.
    • Process payroll for all Virginia Human Resources personnel.
    • Process unemployment claims.
    • Manage all Business Unit years of service programs.
    • Ensure all terminated employees receive an electronic Exit Interview.
    • Providing direction and guidance in support of Allan Myers' values and standards.
    • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.


    Travel Requirements:

    This position may require occasional travel to other Business Units across the PA, DE, MD, VA region.


    Physical Demands:

    Frequently requires the ability to sit, talk, hear. Requires ability to stand, walk, use hands, fingers, reach, climb, kneel or crouch. Ability to work in outside construction environment with possible exposure to elements (Heat, Cold, Rain).



    • Associate’s Degree in Human resources or related field preferred.
    • Strong software skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Ability to work well in a deadline driven environment
    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding compensation and sensitive employee relations situations.
    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
    • Highly motivated, willing to learn and take on new responsibilities as provided
    • Must be able to represent Allan Myers in a professional manner and conduct all work in accordance to company policy and procedure

    The HR Operations Analyst will provide systems, analytical and general HR Operations support to the HR team and employees across Allan Myers.  Responsible for the administration of policies and programs, compliance, reporting and HR project support.
