  • Responsibilities

    The HR Operations Analyst 1 will provide systems, analytical and general HR Operations support to the HR team and employees across Allan Myers.  This position will report to the Director, HR Operations who will assist in building collaborative relationships across the business in order to execute the strategies of the HR Operations function. 

     

    Essential Functions:

    • Super User for HRIS systems including CMIC, Halogen, etc.  Train other HR team members on the use of these tools, and is an expert in how these tools interact with and integrate with each other with an eye for automation and efficiency. Assists in the design, development and implementation of HRIS solutions to enhance HR and business procedures and processes. Assists in the business analysis of potential enhancements or changes to HR systems and processes.
    • Build, prepare and administer the performance review cycle annually including; updates, communication, documentation, forms, supervisor alignment, workflow, KRO mapping, Okta activation and reporting.
    • Leads the collection, participation and analysis of compensation, and other HR data surveys.  Leads participation in appropriate surveys, ensures data is aged and accurate, and communicates appropriate data to HR Managers and other HR leaders as needed. 
    • Prepare compensation analysis on requested positions as needed by leadership.  Prepare modeling, analysis and other support for the creation of or changes to compensation plans and programs
    • Maintain master record of all Allan Myers job descriptions and corresponding compensation benchmarks.  Work with local HR and leaders for creation of new job descriptions, and updates to existing descriptions.  Create and administer annual process for aging compensation data, and confirming or updating existing job descriptions to keep the master record as accurate and up to date as possible.
    • Prepare and distribute all documents, analysis, information and budgets related to the annual APIP process including any updates to employees.
    • Build, prepare and administer the salary review process for all employees including the off-cycle increases for ADP participants.  Provides all documents, analysis, information and budgets related to the annual increase process including any notifications to employees.
    • Seeks out and creates operational efficiencies for HR Operations team by using CMIC and other internal systems to streamline processes and eliminate manual work where possible.
    • Supports HR team by building, documenting and communicating processes for Performance Management, Succession Planning, Onboarding, and HR Technology processes.
    • Works to create and foster close relationships and working processes with Recruiting Operations team members, and regional HR team members.
    • Supports HR Operations team with employee data management for all HR systems.
    • Helps to create and maintain a master HR project list, consistently reconciling project details and status, to ensure a high-quality "single source of truth" for reporting and updates.
    • Performs other duties/ projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree required, with a major or concentration in Human Resources preferred
    • 7+ years experience
    • 5+ years working in HR operations, compensation, and with HR systems and reporting

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate with all level of employees, colleagues and vendors
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion
    • Able to pull together HR datasets and analytics, using standard tools
    • Comfort with data mining, normalizing data, and building meaningful tables/analysis to drive better business decisions.
    • Technical aptitude and an attitude that embraces change.
    • Quantitative analytical abilities. High attention to detail. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
    • Focus on areas that meet a direct, immediate customer need.
    • Understanding of HR infrastructure. Basic understanding of most HR sub-functions, and their inter-dependencies.
    • Exhibits a sense of urgency in all deliverables.
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and handle various goals/projects simultaneously
    • Knowledge of all federal, state and local labor laws.
