  • Responsibilities

    Allan Myers is currently looking for a 6 month Contract Recruiter. Allan Myers is the largest heavy civil construction company and materials provider in the Mid-Atlantic.  The Recruiter will identify and screen experienced Construction professionals to fill Craft positions in the Maryland footprint. The Recruiter will be a key member in the hiring process and will work closely with the regional Human Resource Manager. This position can sit in the Fallston, MD office or work remotely.


    • Sourcing- Find quality candidates (Piping, Paving, Laborers, Truck Drivers, Machine Operators) through various scouring channels including internet job boards, social media, LinkedIn, referrals etc.
    • Screening- Conduct over-the-phone and in-person interviews to qualify candidates and gain a greater understanding of their previous experience.
    • Additional Duties- Manage workflow in applicant tracking system (ICims), scheduling for in person interviews.


    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Must be able to work in the Fallston, MD office or remote from the general area
    • Must have 2 – 4 years’ experience in corporate recruiting /talent acquisition, with a history of success
    • Previous experience recruiting within Construction or Manufacturing is preferred
    • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System, preferably iCims
    • Experience working remotely, and meeting deadlines with little to no direct supervision.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

    Job Type: Contract- 6 months

    • 20-30 per week – flexible within 6am-6pm range

    Contract Length:

    • 6 months. Current through the end of July with a possibility of an additional 1 or 2 months
